UFBA is among the 36 universities confirmed for the CAPES Print call.

The Coordination for the Development of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) included UFBA in the group of 36 Brazilian higher educational institutions qualified to receive financial resources from the Interinstitutional Internationalization Program (Capes PrInt), which, as of November 2018, will establish new criteria for the distribution and management of resources for the internationalization of university research. The decision was published today on the Capes website.

CAPES takes another step forward in the path towards the implementation of PrInt. On Tuesday, October 9, the International Relations Board gathered, in Brasilia, representatives from 36 Higher Education Institutions selected to participate in the Institutional program of Internationalization. 
 

UFBA to receive R$32 million from CAPES for internationalization of research

The Coordination for the Development of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) accepted in its entirety the proposal submitted by UFBA in response to the public call for the Interinstitutional Program for Internationalization (CAPES PrInt), which will establish new criteria for the distribution and management of financial resources aimed at stimulating the internationalization of scientific research in university institutions. Thus, the University will be entitled to receive R $32 million, to be invested in the next four years.
