PRINT: a great step towards internationalization of Post-Graduate programs

CAPES takes another step forward in the path towards the implementation of PrInt. On Tuesday, October 9, the International Relations Board gathered, in Brasilia, representatives from 36 Higher Education Institutions selected to participate in the Institutional program of Internationalization. 
 
The event showed the challenges and strategies for internationalization to be put forward in the execution of the projects. It also briefed the attendees on the management of resources and grants, and offered technical support to clarify questions.
 
The proposals, which were confirmed through the Public Call # 41/2017, will include actions focused on innovation, productivity and visibility of Brazilian scientific production through financing. “These 36 universities were selected for the quality of the proposal they have presented to us in terms of internationalization of post graduate programs”, explained Connie McManus, Director of International Relations. The professor also stated that a more pro-active role in the process of internationalization is expected from the universities taking from their postgraduate programs.
 
PrInt The program promotes institutional development in the internationalization of Brazilian Higher Education Institutions, resulting in the competitiveness and visibility of the scientific production in the Country.
 
PrInt supports the elaboration, implementation and consolidation of strategic plans of the selected institutions in the areas of knowledge prioritized by them, thus stimulating the development of international research networks aiming to improving of the quality in academic production related to postgraduate studies.
